Dr. Landers is Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health and is the Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division.  Dr. Landers is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Board Examiner with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Dr. Landers is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. 

Dr. Landers received his medical degree in 1980 from the University of California, San Francisco, where he completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency and maternal-fetal medicine fellowship.  He subsequently completed fellowship training in reproductive infectious diseases at the University of California, San Francisco and molecular immunology at Stanford University.  He has served on the faculties of the University of California, San Francisco and the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Landers’ clinical interests include thrombophilias, infectious diseases, and intrauterine growth restriction.  Dr. Landers’ research interests are in reproductive infectious diseases and preterm premature rupture of membranes.
