Dr. Ramin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Ramin received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1988.  He went on to complete his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology as well as a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center.  Dr. Ramin is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has a subspecialty certification in maternal-fetal medicine.  He is a senior member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.  Prior to coming to the University of Minnesota, Dr. Ramin was an Associate Professor at Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Ramin’s special interests include fetal ultrasound, multi-fetal gestation, recurrent pregnancy loss, decreased cervical competency, and hypertension in pregnancy.
