Assistant Professor

Dr. Switzer, Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, began her tenure at Regions Hospital in April 2004, developing special interests in geriatric patients, trauma, and diseases of bone metabolism, such as osteoporosis. She is part of the University of Minnesota Physicians group of orthopaedists practicing at Regions Hospital.

Dr. Switzer has published numerous articles and has conducted many  presentations on topics as varied as geriatric trauma, wilderness orthopaedics, and pelvic fractures.
