Ace, Kerry is a full time PEM department staff physician who supervises the subspecialty residents in patient care activities in the emergency department as they rotate through the department during their clinical rotations. She has extensive PEM experience, including a PEM nursing background. She is not sub-board certified because she did not do a PEM Subspecialty fellowship.
Avendano, Pablois a full time, board certified PEM department staff physician who supervises the subspecialty residents in patient care activities in the emergency department as they rotate through the department during their clinical rotations. He is also the lead PEM physician in sedation and advises the subspecialty residents on sedation via small groups and lectures.
Baro, Marte E is a full time PEM department staff physician who supervises the subspecialty residents in patient care activities in the emergency department as they rotate through the department during their clinical rotations. She is board certified in adult emergency medicine as well and leads the fracture reduction by ED physicians’ initiative at the Children’s Hospital in St. Paul. Since she is double boarded in Pediatrics and EM, she has chosen not to get her sub-board in PEM.

He is also one of two lead PEM physicians in charge of the department’s information technology focus. He is responsible for orienting the subspecialty residents to our computerized tracking system.

He is the director of resident education in emergency department at Minneapolis campus. He is also the director of SIDS foundation.
Erickson, Laura is a full time, board certified PEM department staff physician who supervises the subspecialty residents in patient care activities in the emergency department as they rotate through the department during their clinical rotations. She finished her subspecialty fellowship in 2005 and is board certified.
Fehr, Bruce K is a full time, board certified PEM department staff physician who supervises the subspecialty residents in patient care activities in the emergency department as they rotate through the department during their clinical rotations. He heads the safety committee for the emergency department.

He has extensive experience in PEM. However, he has chosen not to take sub-boards during grandfather period.

She is the past subspecialty fellowship director and serves as an assistant to the current subspecialty fellowship director. He attends at both Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. He advises Paul Zenker thru his SOC.
Hetzel, Thomas is a full time, board certified PEM department staff physician who supervises the subspecialty residents in patient care activities in the emergency department as they rotate through the department during their clinical rotations. He organizes the review of all the resuscitations that occur at the Minneapolis campus. Subspecialty residents go over these reviews with the staff.

She attends at both Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. She is active in clinical research.

Klucar-Stoudt, Adrianna is a full time, board certified PEM department staff physician who supervises the subspecialty residents in patient care activities in the emergency department as they rotate through the department during their clinical rotations. She also is involved with the “Sim-Man “and Sim-Baby” program, which is instrumental in teaching the PEM Subspecialty residents resuscitations scenarios via simulations with high fidelity mannequins.
