The University of Minnesota's Division of Pediatric Endocrinology continues a long tradition of being actively involved in type 1 diabetes studies. The University of Minnesota is a clinical center for TrialNet. TrialNet is a world wide network of researchers involved in studies looking at the prevention and early treatment of type 1 diabetes. It is funded by the National Institutes of Health, American Diabetes Association and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
