Dr. Burke is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/Blood and Marrow Transplantation in the Department of Pediatrics.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California at Irvine, in Irvine, California.  Dr. Burke attended Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, where he received his M.D. degree in 2000.  Following medical school he completed a Pediatric residency at the Medical College of Virginia- Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Children’s Memorial Hospital- Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. 

In addition to the care of children, Dr. Burke is particularly interested in the treatment of childhood leukemia and lymphoma.
