Additional Donation Information, International Adoption Clinic at the University of Minnesota

WHY DO WE WORK ON A DONATION BASIS?
Since the inception of the International Adoption Medicine Program (formerly International Adoption Clinic), we have relied on donations--rather than fees--for service.  We choose to continue this policy for two reasons:

TAX INFORMATION
Donations are 100% tax deductible, and you will receive a receipt from the Minnesota Medical Foundation within one month of our receipt of your gift.

MATCHING GIFTS

We are glad to receive your employer's or charitable organization's matching gift. Please mail your matching gift form to us at International Adoption Medicine Program; Attn: Ann Fandrey; 717 Delaware St SE, Room 365; Minneapolis, MN  55414.

WHERE DO YOUR DONATION DOLLARS GO?
Your donation dollars go toward pre- and post-adoption parent education and outreach, clinical care, research into best practices in the care of international adoptees, advocacy for orphans, and medical education in international adoption medicine and research in global health.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES BY DONATION

Please note: post-adoption clinic costs are a separate expense. The clinic visits are covered under most insurance plans. Please see the clinic appointment page for more information.
