About the Director, Department of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota

Dr Jan Apple is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Psychiatry residency program. She is Board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology and Psychosomatic Medicine. In 2000, she joined the staff at the Minneapolis VA, where she is a consultant to the emergency department, the inpatient wards and the outpatient clinics. Dr Apple teaches and supervises University of Minnesota medical students and residents on the consultation-liaison service.
