CIMIR, Department of Radiology at the University of Minnesota

The medical imaging lab aims to develop new imaging techniques and advance applications of existing techniques to solve problems in medicine and biology.

Faculty and graduate students in the lab will work closely with Radiologists and collaborate with investigators from the University of Minnesota (Institute of Technology, the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research, Medical School), other universities, and industries.

The Medical Image and Image Processing laboratory will establish a bridge between Radiologists and Physicists and Engineers. This collaboration is mutually beneficial and will greatly enhance the research in the Department of Radiology.
