Nosheen Mazhar, Division of Rheumatic and Autoimmune Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota

DOMRHEUM Fellow Mazhar

Dr. Nosheen Mazhar joined the Rheumatology Fellowship Program in 2007. Dr. Mazhar graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College from Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine from the University of North Dakota. She was nominated Chief Resident there. She worked on multiple research projects during residency and had a publication. She also worked on putting together guidelines for treating different
diseases during her residency. She is board certified in Internal Medicine. She worked as a Internist at Park Nicollet Health Services.

Dr. Mazhar is interested in diagnosing and treating all Rheumatological disorders, especially Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Rheumatoid Arthritis, Spondyloarthropathies and Scleroderma.

Dr. Mazhar is currently working on two research projects on Systemic lupus Erythematosus.
