Mark Rosenberg is Professor of Medicine and Director of the Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension at the University of Minnesota.
His research is focused on the role of kidney stem cells in kidney regeneration following acute and chronic renal injury. Working with Dr. Sandeep Gupta, their lab has isolated and characterized a multipotent renal progenitor cell (MRPC) from adult kidneys that has self-renewal and broad differentiation properties.
