FACS Calibur is a user run, cell analysis device.

After receiving training, it is available for use 24 hrs/day.

Training takes two hours and costs $75 per person and is available by appointment (call 612-624-0441). The training is accepted at the Cancer Center facility.

The four most common flourochromes are: FITC, PE, PerCp/PI, and APC.  Other colors and markers may be used as long as they match the device specifications.

Lasers:
1)  air-cooled argon-ion laser:  488 nm
2)  red diode laser: nominally 635 nm

Emission Filters:
530 nm (FITC), 585 nm (PE/PI), 661 nm (APC), and >650 nm (PerCP) with base unit, >670 nm (APC) with FL4 option

Rates
Training: $75/person
User-operated: $28/hour
