| GCRC | General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) provides staff and facilities for conducting clinical research at the University. |
| OCR | The Office of Clinical Research (OCR) provides training and support services for conducting clinical and translational research projects, assists investigators in procuring sponsored research funding, increases public awareness and advocacy for clinical and translational research. |

Utilizing Fairview Resources for Research
| Research Administration | The Fairview Research Administration Department provides a range of services integral to the research process such as: regulatory support and consulation; contract review and signing; research pricing and billing; and budget development. |
| E-Form | E-Form is Fairview's research electronic pricing system. Prior to creating a budget including Fairview resources, pricing must be obtained from Fairview, and a copy of the quote must be included with the PRF. |
| Lab Information | Fairview has made available on their website normal lab values, certifications, and other information that may be required by funding agencies supporting clinical research. |
| Access | In order to access Fairview Systems, including medical records, non-Fairview employees must complete a request for access form. |
| Training | Fairview-employed Investigators, unaffiliated Investigators and other key personnel conducting research with Fairview patients, records, specimens, systems & resources who are involved with recruiting, consenting or data collection/abstraction must complete the required Investigator Education training. Training must be completed once every three years. |
| Other Forms | Fairview has made available a number of research-related request forms on their website. |
| Resources | The Fairview Research Resources website includes information about Fairview research policies, glossary of terms, and contact information. |
