Dr. Dorothy Hatsukami

Dorothy Hatsukami,  Ph.D.
Professor

Dr. Hatsukami received her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1980.  Interned at the University of Washington, Seattle Washington, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences from 1977 to 1978. 

Relevant Prior Experience:
Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, University of Minnesota, 1986-89;
Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Minnesota, 1980-89;
Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, University of Minnesota, 1989-95;
Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Minnesota, 1989-95;
Adjunct Professor, Division of Epidemiology, University of Minnesota, 1999-present;
Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Minnesota, 1995 - present.

Responsibilities/Activities in this Residency:
Clinical and research supervisor to postdoctoral, psychology graduate and undergraduate students.
Director of Tobacco Research Laboratory and Treatment Programs 
Director of Tobacco Use Research Center.

Tobacco research
Nicotine addiction
Drug abuse
