Conferences

Renal Grand Rounds - This weekly city-wide conference is attended by faculty and fellows from all training sites. Presentations are by fellows, faculty, and visiting speakers. Once per month a renal biopsy conference is held.

Research Conference - This city-wide conference is held monthly and includes research-in-progress presented by faculty and fellows.

Fellow's Seminar -  Basic science and clinical topics are presented by faculty. Classic articles on the topic are distributed ahead of time enabling interaction between fellows and faculty. 

Journal Club - This conference is held at each training site. Recent interesting journal articles are presented by faculty and fellows. Discussion includes study design and statistical evaluation.

Clinic Conference This weekly conference is held at each training site. Interesting patients are discussed followed by short evidence-based presentations on selected clinical topics.


In addition to these conferences optional departmental conferences are held at each hospital and include a Grand Rounds, Research Conference, and Morbidity and Mortality Conference.
