Professor of Medicine
Dr. Ibrahim is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension. He joined the faculty in the Spring of 1998. Dr. Ibrahim was the Director of the Renal Fellowship Program from 2005 to 2010. He has many research interests but his main focus is the role of the renin angiotensin system in the kidney transplant recipient; an effort sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. He is also conducting studies regarding the long term outcome of previous kidney donors and most recently the application of proteomics in renal transplantation. |  |
