Dr. Paller is currently the Executive Vice Dean of the Medical School and Professor of Medicine.  He continues to see patients in addition to having responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Medical School.  His research interests are in acute kidney injury, hypertension, and kidney disease in pregnancy.  He sees patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, kidney transplantation, end-stage renal disease (dialysis) and hypertension in the Nephrology Clinic of the Transplant Center and as an Attending Nephrologist at University of Minnesota Medical Center.  Dr. Paller is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, faculty, and practitioners.  Dr. Paller has been listed in Best Doctors in America since 1996.
