Patient Services

The Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension has active clinical programs spanning all aspects of nephrology and hypertension. Major clinical activities of the division include hospital inpatient services and outpatient clinics that care for patients with a diverse array of kidney diseases. A major new clinical initiative has been an expansion of transplant nephrology, which is being led by Bertram Kasiske M.D., who was recruited in 2002 as director.

In the Renal Clinic, we see patients with all forms of kidney disease and hypertension.

  • Daily clinics are available
  • Patients with kidney transplant or who want to be evaluated for a kidney transplant can be assessed
  • Specialty areas include:

    • Diabetic kidney disease
