DEPARTMENT OF THERAPEUTIC RADIOLOGY TRAINING PROGRAMS

The Department of Therapeutic Radiology-Radiation Oncology has several training programs. Our four year ACGME accredited Medical Residency program consists of six training slots. We also offer a two year Medical Physics Residency program, one of the few medical physics residency programs in the U.S. accredited by CAMPEP (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs).

University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, administers the Radiation Therapy School which offers both certification and baccalaureate degrees. For information on the Radiation Therapy School contact Patricia Fountinelle, Director, Radiation Therapy Programs, UMMC, Fairview, pfounti1@fairview.org
or 612-273-6393.

One of the department's educational goals is to provide all residents with exceptional training utilizing a combination of classroom and clinical experiences.
