Residency Training Programs

DEPARTMENT OF THERAPEUTIC RADIOLOGY TRAINING PROGRAMS

The Department of Therapeutic Radiology-Radiation Oncology has several training programs. The four-year ACGME accredited Medical Residency program consists of six training slots. Contact Karina Lawrence at 612-626-2631 or lawre012@umn.edu for information regarding the Medical Residency program. 

The Department of Therapeutic Radiology-Radiation Oncology also offers a two-year Medical Physics Residency program, one of the few medical physics residency programs in the U.S. accredited by CAMPEP (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs).  Contact Connie Blasing at 612-626-2440 or cblasing@umn.edu for information about the Medical Physics Residency program.

University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, administers the Radiation Therapy School which offers both certification and baccalaureate degrees.
