Why I chose the University of Minnesota Medical School

I knew I wanted to become a rural family medicine practitioner and Duluth is one of the best schools in the country for that. Furthermore, the amount of patient experience that we have here right away is phenomenal. Within a few months of receiving my white coat I was already seeing patients.

Research experience

I worked in the neurosurgical oncology lab at Mayo Clinic during my senior year of undergrad.
Medical Interests: 
Broad spectrum family medicine with OB

Community Involvement

I am a board member for our Family Medicine Interest Group and the education coordinator for the student section of the Minnesota Medical Association. I also volunteer at the HOPE clinic and Meyers-Wilkins Elementary.
