The University of Minnesota Medical School offers a number of options to help students fund their education.
Cost is an important factor when considering what school to attend. The University of Minnesota Medical School is committed to keeping our tuition and fees as affordable as possible. Upon entering our Medical School, tuition will be fixed for four years.
Tuition for the first year of Medical School will cost a Minnesota resident an average of $38,628 and a non-resident* an average of $55,437.
Our full-time financial aid officers provide support to help students manage their debt. In addition, there are a variety of scholarships and grants available to our students.
*Note: Medical students from South Dakota are able to apply for tuition reciprocity. Students from Canada and other countries are considered non-residents.
