Get Involved

The Medical School AR team strives to enhance and renew a lifelong experience for all alumni, whoever they are and wherever they may be. If you are interested in joining us, but are not quite sure where to begin, we have the tools to help. Becoming an alumni volunteer is a great way to apply your knowledge and make a difference in the lives of medical students. Students are seeking guidance from alumni as they prepare for a career in medicine. The Office of Alumni Relations can connect you with opportunities that best fit your interests and experiences.

There are many ways to support current medical students:

  1. Have your voice heard - apply to become a member of the Alumni Board.
  2. Become a HOST or eHOST.
  3. Alumni in the Twin Ports area are invited to become a Clinical Rotation HOST.
  4. Serve as a Career Development resource. This might include participating in mock interviews, serving as a specialty expert or panelist, providing shadowing experiences, offering informational interviews, etc.
  5. Volunteer for the Office of Admissions to help recruit the most talented and brightest future physicians.

Our alumni are invaluable partners in our efforts to connect with medical students - providing insight and support as they make critical educational and career decisions regarding specialty choice and practice sites.

If you would like to be added to a list of interested volunteers for future opportunities to connect with students, complete the Volunteer Intake form.Â
