FOSTERING EXCELLENCE & ADVANCEMENT

As an academic department on the Duluth campus, we are part of a more than 40-year tradition of training rural family medicine physicians and Native American physicians.

CLOSE-CAMPUS ENVIRONMENT WITH BIG OPPORTUNITIES

Students in our department enjoy the benefits of being part of a top-notch medical school, with the personal attention of a smaller school environment. After completing two years of preclinical studies at the Duluth campus, medical students go on to complete clinical clerkships in Duluth, Minneapolis, or St. Paul.
