Dr. Anne Bantle Receives Endocrine Society's Early Investigators Award

The Endocrine Society recently announced Anne Bantle, M.D., UMN Medical School Department of Medicine, as a winner of its 2017 Early Investigators Award. The award was established to recognize investigators early in their career who have conducted outstanding endocrine research. Dr. Bantle's research focuses on therapies for the management of Type 2 diabetes as well as the effect of the gut microbiome on human metabolism.
