New Pilot Program Gives Freshman Fast Track to U of M Medical School

The Regents of the University of Minnesota and the Medical School's Dr. Robert Englander were recently awarded the prestigious Stemmler Grant. The award is gifted to institutions that partake in the research or development of innovative assessment approaches with the intent to enhance the evaluation of those preparing to or continuing to, practice medicine. This year, the grant was awarded to three institutions and those three, the University of Minnesota was the only college in the United States.
