UMN Breaks Ground on New Health Science Education Center
The new Health Science Education Center will provide a much needed improvement to the Academic Health Center upon its completion in the fall of 2019. The building will provide 202,000-square-feet of active learning and small group teaching spaces; interprofessional study areas; a “revamped” biomedical library that utilizes virtual and augmented reality learning; and simulation training stations, among other amenities.
