OB/GYN Faculty Receives Faculty Award from Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Mary Pukite was recently awarded the SASGOG 2023 Faculty Award. The SASGOG Faculty Award was established in 2016 to honor a faculty member for their dedication and commitment to the ideals of being an academic generalist. Specifically, the faculty member selected for this honor exhibits excellence in clinical care of women, mentorship and career development of academic specialists, and research/scholarship in general obstetrics and gynecology.
The Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology was formed to meet the growing need for support and recognition for general OB/GYN specialists in academic departments. SASGOG accomplishes this by facilitating new initiatives in women’s health care, sharing best practices, and promoting scholarship and leadership within academic departments.
