Bio
I completed my anesthesia residency in 2011 and a fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesia in 2012, both at the University of Minnesota. Since then, I have worked to develop the Perioperative and Interventional Pain Service at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center. We have done extensive research into the clinical effects of both TAP blocks and paravertebral blocks on patients post operative pain control opioid use, and length of stay. At the same time, we are improving the satisfaction of patients after surgery.
Research Summary
My academic research is currently focused on regional anesthesia, specifically on truncal blocks and catheters.
Clinical Summary
My clinical interests include regional anesthesia, cardiothoracic anesthesia, acute pain, and pediatric regional anesthesia.
