Trends in Biomedical Research

Tools to visualize employment trends in biomedical science: A popular published study by Collins et al analyzed trends of both domestic and international  postdocs to evaluate the kind of jobs they landed after their training.  Results revealed that "In an almost 2-to-1 ratio, international postdocs were going into academic positions to do basic research", whrereas "Postdocs in the U.S. tended to enter for-profit companies to do applied research"
